Lost Connection

So it may be a little cold

But then you can’t handle the heat

You have a roof over your head

And shoes to warm your feet

So you can’t call your family

Although you never visit them

So there’s no water left to bathe you

But last week you took a swim

You only notice the storm

If it’s you who gets wet

You only notice the loss

If it’s you who makes the bet

With a frown on your face

Like you’re the only one that’s suffering

A blind eye to all the rest

As you watch your screen buffering

What a selfish world we live in

Where we are all attached to things

While we forget about the people

And the happiness connection brings
